Creating a platform for communication between science and practice in organic food system

Aims

Main assumption:
Partnership is based on the findings from the previous project LdV acronym LOVEt. There are 2 groups of partners: old EU countries, more advanced in organic farming, named as Advanced Countries Group (ACG), and new EU members, less advanced in organic farming, named as Developing Countries Group (DCG).

Aims of the project:
1. Analysis of the best practice models of the science-practice cooperation existing in ACG.
2. Elaboration of the best strategies of the organic sector development via round table debates in DCG.
3. Selection of the best practice models and best strategies by DCG and ACG partners.
4. Elaboration of the strategies for Local Action Groups proposed for implementation in the cooperation with the authorities.

The concrete objectives of the partnership corresponding to the operational objectives of the LdV program:
1. To improve the cooperation between universities, NGOs and companies in EU in the organic sector.
2. To develop the best practices in the field of VET and their transfer, including from one participating country to others.

1. To improve the skills of the participants and to enable personal development and participation in the European labour market.
2. To enhance the innovations and attractiveness in VET systems in organic food sector in Europe.

Specific objectives of the Partnership:
1. Analysis of the best practice models of the science-practice cooperation existing in ACG.
2. Elaboration of the best strategies of the organic sector development in the selected important problems identified to be solved in the previous project in DCG.
3. Selection of the best practice models and best strategies by DCG and ACG partners.
4. Elaboration of the strategies for Local Action Groups proposed for implementation in the cooperation with the authorities.
